The strip has officially made it through January.  Who knew it would last this long?
I hope to release an animated short in February to christen the videos section of the site.  A "How it's Made" video would be a lot of fun.  I even downloaded CamTwist to made a making-of video, but I can't seem to get it to work.  Any suggestions are welcome.

I do like to write, and while I probably could, I have not actually written the essay mention in this week's comic.
I find that these blog posts are tough to write.  Really they're the hardest thing about doing Coin Collection.
Now, how to end this post?

"Kung Fu Kid" does have a nice ring to it.  It could have worked.  It's still a fun movie based off of a much better movie with interesting characters doing mimicries of classic characters we already have affinity with.  Whatever, in another sixteen years, we'll probably all be flocking to theaters when they do make "The Kung Fu Kid".
I hope we'll see "The Wrestling Rascal" before then.  A young teen finds himself the victim of John Cena's bullying.  His only hope to live a fear-free life lies in Hulk Hogan.  He will teach the boy "real" wrestling.  "No, no, no, brother.  You're trying to really hurt your opponent.  The trick is to make it somewhat look like you kind of hit him, maybe, if the camera had been at the right angle."  And though John Cena "does" break the rascal's leg in the second to last round, the youth manages to climb the ropes and land a decisive, awe inspiring "People's Elbow" in a cage match that will be remembered for generations.

Yeah, I really wanted to see this movie.  No one would see it with me in theaters and no one wants to watch it with me on DVD tomorrow.  If you ask me, people are crazy.
Last Monday I announced that the strip would also be available on the Keyhole Comics Studio website.  Later that day the site went live, and you can check out Coin Collection at its second home by heading over to www.KeyholeComicsStudio.com.

Just one week into the series, and the strip has already been picked up.  A start-up company, Keyhole Comics Studio, will be running Coin Collection on their website set to launch in the near future.  Still available here, Coin Collection will hopefully begin to expand its audience.  A link to the Keyhole website will be made available post-launch.

Hey, it's the premier strip of Coin Collection!  Exciting isn't it?  I don't know if being an introvert allotted me the time to become an artist or if it's the other way around, but as a result I'm not the most social of people.  I prefer thinking out my words, playing with syntax, using a thesaurus, which just isn't possible in conversation.  Co-workers and friends recently have brought this to my attention and made me consider what my deal is.
