"ComLine", my entry to my school's game design contest, is complete.  It's a 2D space-shooter made in GameMaker using sprites converted from 3D models made in Maya.  This last week has been my first experience with crunch-time.  It has been... educational.

My game for my college's game contest is completely playable.  That is, you can go through all the levels and beat the game, but it still needs some work:  a main menu, music, voice overs, and credits.  Looks like I've still got  a bit of work ahead of me before the March 7th due date.

The game was on at work last night.  Apparently some sort of team won in the end.  Or at least, that's what I am told.
I don't follow sports, and I failed to watch the Superbowl yet again, but hey, for me and the Patriots, there's always next year.
.....
The Patriots were the team that lost, right?

The joke brought to you in part by Steve Pimental.  Hell, he basically wrote it start to finish.

The first Star Trek strip of the year!
Scott's script lacked flare.
For our first project in animation class, we had to make a bouncing ball.  It just had to bounce four times, but I went all out with a short Portal themed video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tDqfWNMet0

Classes start tomorrow.
It'll be strange getting up in the morning, especially since 2 AM is my typical bedtime.

The Mrs. and I just watch The Land before Time, the good one, the original one, the one from nineteen eighty-something-or-other.  Apparently, between the ages of 2 and 3, I committed the entirety of the film to memory.  These memories, which over the years had trickled down to my subconscious, were all awakened throughout the course of tonight's viewing, and I feel I may even be a bigger fan of the movie now than I was then.
