Before Captain America started yesterday, there was an ad for the new Thunder Cats television series.  The ad featured the old crew redesigned in Flash animation.  I was upset to see my favourite childhood show remade with what has become typical Cartoon Network animation, and I said I wouldn't watch it.  Today, while looking for info to help me bash it, I came across the kinds of trailers they ought to have shown:  the ones with footage from the actual show.  It looks awesome!  I was pleased to find that the voice of Lion-O from the original series with be voicing Lion-O's father in the new series.  I'm confused as to what Slythe and Mumm-Ra are doing on an the undistroyed planet Thundera, home of the young adult Prince Lion-O.  I guess if their going to get the location of characters and the status of planets wrong, they can get some characters' ages wrong too.  Anyways, I admit it.  I wish I had television.
Also, my wife bought me a gift the other day.  In the card she said she didn't know if I'd like it, and I had seven days to return it; that might even be enough time to play and finish the game, she wrote.  The game is Final Fantasy XIII.  FFXIII in seven days?  Yeah, right.

This semester of school is done and over with.  I can't wait for the fall semester when I get to start building and animating characters.  I've got a few ideas running through my head as to what kinds of characters I want to make.  I'm also thinking of making a Coin Collection animated series, but that's still far off.
In the mean time, during this break, I'll be playing as many video games as I can.  I tried Sword of Mana, but wasn't impressed.  Force Unleashed was cool, and I have part two waiting for me.  Now I'm playing FFVII Crisis Core, and I'd like to get some LittleBig Planet in as well.  If you're wondering, Mortal Kombat will not be one of my summer games.
To conclude, I think I'll share that listening to the Mortal Kombat theme song makes me feel like a badass even though it definitely shouldn't.

Like the jump program, no one gets it the first time.
Fun fact, the Matrix was the first movie I knew verbatim.  It's one of the most important movies ever made.  If anyone knows of an action movie that hasn't used bullet-time since its release, let me know.  There are probably one or two out there.
My summer semester ends tomorrow.  I'm antsy as an ant, see?

P.S.  Can we all just pretend the part two and three never happened?

Blam!  That computer class is finished!  Turns out I really like QBasic, and I'm even working on a game on it.  It's simple, but it's cool.  It's got checkpoints, passwords, namable items and character, and even a morality system.  It about a third of the way done, so I'll be needing - "needing", this is just for fun - testers pretty soon.  If your interested in helping out, check out the Twitters or Facesbook, or hey, just click yourself over the the contact page of this site.
